Terms of Service

Hands On 3D Academy is a free, non-profit, volunteer-run program that teaches 3D design and printing. Use it kindly, keep it legal, and it stays free.

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. By signing up you confirm that you are 13 or older. If we learn an account belongs to someone younger, we will delete it.

• Give accurate information when you sign up and keep your password private.
• You are responsible for what happens under your account.
• You can ask us to close your account at any time by emailing hudson.zeiler@gmail.com.

• Be respectful to tutors and other students in sessions and workshops.
• Do not harass, impersonate, or share other people's personal information.
• Do not upload anything unlawful, harmful, or that you do not have the right to share.
• Do not attempt to break, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the site.
• Do not design or request help designing weapons or other dangerous items.

We may suspend or remove an account that breaks these rules.

Anything you make is yours. If you share a model or image with us for the site, you give us permission to display it as an example of student work. Tell us if you would rather we didn't, or ask us to take it down later, and we will.

Lessons, notes, and downloadable files on this site are free for personal and classroom use. Please don't resell them.

3D printers get hot and involve moving parts and fumes. Students should always follow the manufacturer's safety instructions and have adult supervision when printing. We teach design; we are not responsible for how equipment is operated.

The site is provided as is, without guarantees that it will always be available or error free. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for damages arising from the use of the site or its lessons.
