Hands On 3D Academy is a free, volunteer-run program that teaches 3D design and printing. This site is operated by Hudson Zeiler. You can reach us any time at hudson.zeiler@gmail.com.

Accounts on this site are for people aged 13 or older. During sign-up we ask you to confirm your age, and we do not knowingly create accounts for or collect personal information from children under 13.

If you believe a child under 13 has created an account or sent us personal information, email hudson.zeiler@gmail.com and we will delete it promptly.

• Account information: your email address, a password (stored encrypted by our authentication provider), and a display name.
• Account type: whether you signed up as a learner or a tutor.
• Learning activity: which lessons you complete and which workshops you RSVP to.
• Forms you choose to submit: tutoring requests and volunteer applications, which may include your name, email, age, experience level, and what you want to build.

We do not collect payment information, because everything here is free.

• To create and secure your account and let you sign back in.
• To save your lesson progress and workshop sign-ups.
• To reply to tutoring requests and volunteer applications.
• To send account emails such as sign-up confirmation and password resets.

We do not sell your information, rent it, or use it for advertising.

We use service providers to run the site: a hosting provider, a managed database and authentication service, and an email delivery service. They process data only to provide those services to us. We do not share your information with anyone else except when the law requires it.

We keep account information while your account is active. Tutoring requests and volunteer applications are kept while we follow up and for our records afterward. When you ask us to delete your data, we remove your account and associated records.

Email hudson.zeiler@gmail.com from the address on the account and ask us to delete it. We will confirm and remove your account, profile, and lesson history. A parent or guardian can make this request on behalf of their teen.

This program is designed for teens aged 13 and up. Tutoring sessions are one-on-one or small-group video calls about 3D design, arranged by email after you submit a request. Nothing on the site is a paid product, and we never ask a student for payment details or a home address.

You are welcome to sit in on any session, to ask exactly what we store about your teen, or to have it deleted. Just email hudson.zeiler@gmail.com.

Passwords are handled by our authentication provider and are never visible to us. Access to stored data is restricted by per-account database rules so students can only read their own records.

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of the page. Meaningful changes will also be mentioned on the site.
